Freelance missions, paid at the pace of the company’s revenue.
Companies publish their missions here. Member freelancers deliver them at an increased rate, targeting three times their usual rate. Each month, the company pays for these services with an agreed share of its collected revenue.

Work feeds a balance. Cash receipts settle it.
The amount owed is set by the approved work. Only the payment schedule follows the revenue collected by the company. Pacto provides the framework, the contract templates, the tool and the Register, without ever touching the money.
- The company
The company publishes a mission
Objective, maximum volume and indicative rate, on its mission board.
- The freelancer
A freelancer delivers it
Through their own company, independently, at the increased rate agreed with the company.

Approval creates a balance
The company approves the work, which is recorded in the Register. The balance neither fades nor grows over time.
- The settlement
Settled to the last euroThe fraction is chosen between 5 and 12.5% of collected revenue and frozen when the first contract starts: it can then be raised, never lowered. Each month it is shared among the freelancers in proportion to their open balances. In a month with no collected revenue, nothing is due: balances carry over.
Each month, 5 to 12.5% of collected revenue is shared pro rata to balances and paid directly, until fully settled. In a month without receipts, nothing is due: balances carry over.
Each receives according to their share of the total balance.
In a month without receipts, nothing is due and nothing is distributed. Balances stay recorded and carry over.

- The contract templates between the company and the freelancer
- The software: mission board, planning, messaging, balances

- The members directory, where the company chooses whom to approach
What Pacto is not
- A party to the contract between the company and the freelancer
- A financial intermediary: no payment passes through Pacto
- A placement agency: selection belongs to the company
- An employer: the freelancer remains an independent company
- Legal or tax advice, nor a promise of results
The questions we get asked first.
No. The freelancer operates through a company and remains an independent business, free in their methods, their time and their other clients. The relationship with the company is company to company.
No. The company pays its share directly to each freelancer, who then issues an invoice for the amount received. Pacto bills its own fees to companies, separately.
No payment is due that month. Balances do not decrease: they stay recorded in the Register and settlement resumes with the next receipts.
Balances already open remain owed. A company leaving its programme without settling them would owe its freelancers compensation equal to their combined balances.
